    We are conveniently situated in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, a short distance from the G train, Greenpoint Landing Ferry, and other public transportation.

    There is paid onsite parking, free street parking, metered street parking, and a nearby parking lot available.

  • Our standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 9AM to 6PM.

    For bookings, our Standard Rates cover bookings from Monday - Friday 7AM - 6PM. Weekends and evening bookings fall under our After Hours Rates.

    We do not allow bookings later than 12AM.

  • Our Standard Rates for productions start at $100/hour and $150/hour for events.

    Pricing may vary depending on the size, hours, and needs of the booking.

  • Item descriEvery booking has full use of the Studio and all of the breakout spaces.

    Shoot Space – Expansive floor space with white-washed exposed brick, 3x windows, and wood beams.

    The Salon – A 3-station hair and makeup room dedicated to all of your beauty needs.

    Private Workspace – A conference-style glass room just off of the main space to allow you to host clients, take a call, or stage props/eq without being too far from the action.

    Changing Room – A private room with a mirror & clothing rack used for changing or staging EQ, supplies, or whatever you need it for!

    Kitchenette – Simple kitchen space featuring marble countertops with full-sized refrigerator & freezer combo.

    Every booking also includes a small Equipment and Furniture package in addition to a list of Add-Ons we can provide upon request.

    Outside equipment and furniture is permitted. If you require assistance sourcing anything from EQ to furniture/props, our team can utilize relationships with local vendors to meet all of your needs. Just ask!

  • Every booking has full use of the Studio and all of the breakout spaces.

    Changing Room – A private room with a mirror & clothing rack used for changing or staging EQ, supplies, or whatever you need it for!

    Kitchenette – Simple kitchen space featuring marble countertops with full-sized refrigerator & freezer combo.

  • Just about every space in the Studio is yours to use! We have ample shooting space with lifestyle, blank slate, or seamless set up options, a Salon with 3x make-up and hair stations, a private client workspace, a changing room, and a kitchenette stocked with light snacks and refreshments.

    When booking our studio the only rooms that are off limits are the SK Studio offices where our Studio Manager will be stationed and our equipment room.

    We have a small equipment and grip package on site that is included in your booking. We also have several Add-Ons available including furniture, event rentals, and props for an extra cost per item. Please let us know what you need and we will help make it happen!     Outside equipment is allowed. Our team is also happy to help source anything you might need from our local rental houses.

  • All bookings require a contract.

    All photo and video productions over 10 people are required to present production insurance 3 business days prior to the shoot date. Some exceptions may apply.

    All events, no matter the size, are required to submit event insurance 3 days prior to your booking date.

  • We are located on the 1st floor (ground level) so getting inside the studio is quick and easy! We offer convenient access to an unobstructed loading dock with ramps located at the rear of the building for a smooth load in / out.

  • We have south facing windows that bring in some direct sunlight. The space receives consistent brightness from morning until late afternoon, and then the light becomes less intense as the sun sets.

    The windows are easily able to be blacked out if needed. We offer Total Blackout as an Add-On service or you’re welcome to do so yourself!

  • Yes! All overhead lights are full-spectrum LED.

    We designed our lighting system with photo and video in mind. All overheads default to 3400K, but can be manipulated to any temperature and color across the spectrum.

  • We are a fairly quiet space on the first floor corner of the building. Occasional trucks and typical NYC sounds are expected, but the studio is located on a side street so loud traffic is not an issue.

    We have hosted many recorded interviews and video shoots with audio without an issue.

  • All deliveries made outside of your scheduled booking timeline may be subject to Storage Fees depending on the size and circumstances. Overnight storage is also dependent on size and circumstance (i.e. if we have another booking that takes all of our storage capacity.)

  • We permit cancellation with full refund up to 7 days before the booking start time.

    Cancellations from 7 days to 24 hours before the booking will be refunded 50% of their booking price.

    Cancellations submitted within less than 24 hours before the booking start time are not refundable.

  • Your booking timeline must include set-up and breakdown times.

    Our on-site studio manager will let you into the space when your booking begins.

  • Modifications to your booking needs are allowed and subject to availability.

    To ensure a seamless and efficient booking experience, we strongly recommend providing as much detail as possible prior to your booking so that our team can have everything prepared for you upon arrival.

  • Based on legal requirements, the Studio cannot exceed 60 guests.

  • Yes! Studios by SK is built for multi - purpose usage. Book us for your birthday, baby shower, co-working space, fashion show, and more. Let us help you bring your visions and community together.

    Our space is designed to transform from lifestyle set to blank slate. Almost everything in the space can be rearranged or removed. Furniture and equipment is subject to change based on the type and size of the event.

  • 220 - Outlets in floor and on every wall. Lighting systems, shoot space outlets, and Salon outlets are separated for maximum power distribution.

  • Yes.

    To ensure the safety of our space and team members, all public areas of the Studio have security cameras. For the privacy of your booking and clients, the footage is only accessible by the to the Studios by SK team and is deleted 30 days after your booking.

    We also have a production company SK Studio where we specializes in high-end photo and video content production. From pre-production to post-production, we handle all aspects of your shoot, including creative direction, casting, styling, and editing.

  • Noise must be kept at a reasonable volume.

    We do not allow:

    • Decor that causes damage to the walls or floors
